About
SkyReels-A2 ('Compose Anything in Video Diffusion Transformers', April 2025) is Skywork AI's open-source take on controllable generation: instead of describing a scene in text and hoping, you supply arbitrary visual elements (characters, objects, backgrounds) and the model composes them into a single coherent video. It extends the SkyReels line that began with the human-centric SkyReels-V1 and the portrait-animation SkyReels-A1, and the team backs it with A2-Bench, a public online evaluation leaderboard, plus ComfyUI nodes and multi-GPU inference support.
Preview checkpoints, inference code, and a Gradio demo were released in April 2025 with an active repo (around 700 stars, updated October 2026), though the full model sequence including the infinity-long version was still pending. One caution: the repo carries no machine-readable license (GitHub reports NOASSERTION), so the terms for commercial reuse are unclear from metadata alone.
