Bodhi TTS
Sovereign Indian TTS — 50+ native voices across 10 languages at ₹12 per 10,000 characters.
About
Bodhi TTS, launched September 24, 2026 by Mumbai-based Navana.ai, is a text-to-speech model built for real-time Indian voice AI applications. It ships with more than 50 natively Indian voices across 10 languages — Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Bengali, Odia, Malayalam, Kannada, English, and Gujarati — at a single list price of ₹12 per 10,000 characters (about ₹0.72 per minute of speech). That is roughly one-eighth of ElevenLabs' list pricing and about 60% below Sarvam's Bulbul v3.
Navana trains and owns the entire Bodhi speech stack with no data routed through third-party model providers, and the model is about five times smaller than comparable architectures, so inference can run inside a bank's own data center. It handles Indian text natively — ₹1,00,000 reads as one lakh rupees, PAN numbers and phone numbers spoken the way a bank would say them — with uploadable pronunciation dictionaries and zero-shot voice cloning from a few seconds of reference audio. First audio arrives in under 100 milliseconds.
Navana is ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certified, and says its systems have handled more than 100 million conversations for Indian banks and lenders, with Bodhi already supporting voice agents handling over ₹1,000 crore in monthly loan disbursals. Those adoption figures are company-reported. Signup carries ₹1,000 in free credits.
