Strapi
Open-source headless CMS with Strapi AI content assistance.
About
Strapi is the leading open-source headless CMS, built on Node.js and TypeScript. It gives developers full control over their content API with auto-generated REST and GraphQL endpoints, a customizable admin panel, granular role-based access, and support for PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, and SQLite. Version 5 introduced a Document Service API with flattened responses and improved TypeScript support.
Strapi AI adds intelligence to the editorial workflow: AI-assisted content-type building, an AI media library that generates alt text and captions for images, and automated translation that preserves SEO metadata across locales. The plugin marketplace extends the platform further. With tens of thousands of GitHub stars and MIT licensing for the community edition, it is the default self-hosted choice for API-first content.
