Skills
The open agent skills CLI: npx skills add installs skills into 70+ agents.
About
Skills is the open-source CLI for the agent skills ecosystem, maintained under vercel-labs/skills. It installs skill collections into coding agents with a single command, such as npx skills add owner/repo, and supports GitHub shorthand, full URLs, GitLab, arbitrary git URLs, and local paths.
The CLI supports OpenCode, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and dozens more agents, and can also generate a prompt for a single skill without installing, piping it into an agent via npx skills use. Project installations write a skills-lock.json file so pinned skills can be restored reproducibly.
The repository carries an MIT license and has attracted tens of thousands of stars, making it the de facto installer that skill publishers, including large skill collections, document as their recommended install path.
