Resend
Developer-first email API built by the React Email team.
About
Resend is an email API built for developers, from the same team behind React Email, the open-source library for building email templates as React components. It covers transactional and marketing email, batch sending, scheduling, contacts and broadcasts, inbound email, webhooks, and delivery analytics through a small, predictable REST API with idiomatic SDKs.
In April 2026 Resend launched an official MCP server so coding agents in tools like Claude Code and Cursor can send, manage contacts, configure domains, and handle webhooks through natural language. The free tier covers 3,000 emails per month, and a test address lets developers send before verifying a domain. It has become the default pick for many indie developers and startups on API ergonomics.
What it can do
- Send transactional and batch email via a clean REST API
- Build templates as React components with React Email
- Inbound email, webhooks, contacts, segments, and broadcasts
- Official MCP server so AI coding agents can manage email programmatically
Setup
