About
RealityScan is Epic Games' free photogrammetry app, built on Capturing Reality technology. Walk around an object taking at least 20 photos; a live quality map shows coverage as green, yellow, or red while cloud processing assembles a textured 3D mesh in minutes, exportable to Sketchfab and standard DCC tools and game engines.
Mobile 1.8 added AR Guidance capture, automatic background removal in Object Mode, lasso and rectangle mesh cleanup, and a watertight-mesh option for 3D printing. It is free including for commercial use. Limits: photogrammetry only, so reflective or wet surfaces capture poorly, and small intricate objects lose detail.
