About

PulseMCP is where the MCP ecosystem goes to be discovered. The directory lists 21,700+ MCP servers, updated daily and hand-reviewed by the founder since MCP's launch week, with visitor metrics, popularity sorting, classifications (official, anthropic-references), and filters by category and language. When you need a server for Slack, Postgres, or something obscure, this is the fastest way to find the maintained one.

It is more than a listing: PulseMCP runs a newsletter and Discord community, publishes its own productionized MCP servers (pulse-fetch for web content extraction, pulse-subregistry for searching the sub-registry, image-diff, svg-tracer) to the official MCP Registry, and exposes a public Registry API. Agent frameworks including fast-agent explicitly target its servers.

The honest caveat: directory quality signals are popularity and review-based, not security audits — a listed server is not a vetted server, so still check permissions before installing anything into your agent. The team's own servers are the safest bet. For discovery, though, nothing else in the MCP world has this combination of scale and human curation.

What it can do

  • 21,700+ MCP servers, updated daily, hand-reviewed
  • Popularity signals: visitor metrics, trending and latest sorting, classifications
  • First-party maintained servers: pulse-fetch, pulse-subregistry, image-diff, svg-tracer
  • Public Registry API and official MCP Registry publishing
  • Newsletter and Discord community for the MCP ecosystem

Setup

  1. Browse pulsemcp.com/servers — filter by category, classification, or sort by popularity.
  2. Open a server listing for install instructions (most are npx/uvx one-liners or remote URLs).
  3. Add the server to your MCP client config (Claude Code, Cursor, fast-agent, etc.).
  4. For programmatic discovery, use the PulseMCP Sub-Registry API or the pulse-subregistry server.

Prerequisites

An MCP-capable AI client; a browser for discovery. No account needed.
