Pipecat Cloud
Managed hosting for Pipecat voice and multimodal agents: docker push to production.
About
Pipecat Cloud, built by Daily, is the managed deployment platform for Pipecat, the open-source (BSD 2-Clause) framework for building realtime voice and multimodal AI agents. Pipecat orchestrates pipelines of typed frames through pluggable STT, LLM, TTS, and vision services with vendor-neutral transports, and Pipecat Cloud takes that same code to production with a docker-push workflow.
The platform handles the hard parts of voice AI infrastructure: long-lived stateful connections, optimal network routing, rolling deploys with connection-aware drain times, cold-start avoidance, and global low-latency placement. It is trusted by companies including NVIDIA, Mercor, Descript, Epic, Vapi, and Tavus, and reached general availability in early 2026.
Limitations: it is purpose-built for the Pipecat ecosystem, so teams on other agent frameworks gain less; real-time voice workloads remain operationally demanding even on managed infra.
What it can do
- Docker-push deployment of Pipecat voice agents
- Global low-latency routing for stateful connections
- Vendor-neutral pipeline code that also self-hosts
- REST control API for agent sessions at scale
Setup
Build a Pipecat pipeline with the open-source framework; create an account at pipecat.daily.co and deploy with docker push.
Prerequisites
A Pipecat-based agent codebase; Pipecat Cloud account.
