Nosana
Decentralized GPU cloud on Solana for AI inference and training.
About
Nosana is a decentralized compute network built on Solana that lets developers run AI workloads on consumer GPUs contributed by a global peer network. The project reports roughly 2,000 active nodes and more than 826,000 AI jobs processed, positioning itself as a cheaper alternative to centralized GPU clouds for inference, fine-tuning, and batch jobs.
Access comes through a web dashboard, REST API, TypeScript SDK, or CLI; you containerize your workload and it is dispatched to the peer-to-peer network, paying with the NOS token. Honest caveats: Nosana is crypto infrastructure, and independent coverage has flagged concentrated insider token holdings, thin liquidity, and a drawdown of around 97% from peak for the NOS token. GPU quality and availability vary across volunteer nodes, so treat it as a cost-saving option for tolerant workloads, not for SLA-bound or regulated ones.
