MCPJam
Chat with, inspect, and debug MCP servers like a DevTools for agents.
About
MCPJam is a testing and evaluation platform for Model Context Protocol servers, MCP apps, and ChatGPT apps. It lets developers manually run tools, resources, prompts, and elicitation flows with full JSON-RPC observability, going well beyond the reference MCP inspector.
Its App Builder debugs a server against a live model with chat, trace, and raw views plus a Chrome DevTools-style widget emulator; the Chat surface compares up to three frontier models side by side, and a guided OAuth debugger walks through MCP auth conformance.
Workspaces add shared server groups with real-time team sync, and CI/CD conformance checks catch regressions before production.
What it can do
- Manual MCP tool and resource invocation
- Multi-model chat with trace views
- Guided OAuth conformance debugger
- CI/CD behavior checks
Setup
Clone a mcpjam-inspector fork from GitHub and run it with Docker, or follow the hosted docs at docs.mcpjam.com.
