Kasava
Codebase intelligence platform: AI reads every commit to power plans, reports, and Q&A with citations.
About
Kasava (kasava.dev) is a codebase intelligence platform built around a simple idea: progress reports and feature plans should cite real changes, so it parses your repositories and reads every commit. On top of that product graph it offers AI chat for Q&A over the codebase with citations to files, PRs, and docs; commit intelligence that rates every PR for size and risk; AI-generated digests of wins, risks, and progress; plan generation exporting PRDs to Linear, Jira, or GitHub; and a Chrome extension that captures bugs with full context.
It integrates with GitHub, Linear, Jira, Asana, Gong, Notion, Slack, Sentry, and Claude Code, with bidirectional sync so changes flow back to the source platform. The positioning is the exoskeleton model: AI goes deep on research and analysis, humans make the calls. The team also publishes well-regarded Claude Code best-practices guides.
The honest picture: Kasava is a commercial platform with a broad feature surface (chat, digests, bug capture, PRDs), so evaluate whether you need the whole suite or just one piece. Pricing and plan limits were not independently verified at write time. As with any tool indexing private repos, review its data handling before connecting proprietary code.
What it can do
- Commit-level codebase parsing and product graph
- AI chat with citations to files, PRs, and docs
- Automated PR risk ratings and team digests
