About

Grain is an AI meeting assistant built for teams that think in video, not just transcripts. It records calls in 1080p with speaker-focused framing, then uses AI to generate notes, action items and highlight clips you can share as embeddable players in Notion, Confluence or Slack. Automated recap emails go out with video snippets attached.

Transcription covers 30 or more languages, and higher tiers add conversation trackers that follow key topics across calls, AI coaching and CRM sync with HubSpot and Salesforce. Integrations also include Slack, Teams and Zapier, and an MCP connection exposes meeting data to AI tools.

The free plan includes unlimited meetings capped at 45 minutes per recording. Starter is $15 per user per month billed annually ($19 monthly) and Business is $29 ($39 monthly), with Enterprise on custom pricing. Some G2 reviewers complain about losing access to their recordings after downgrading, which is worth knowing before you commit a library to it.

Trust score — 7/10

/10 trustMetrics-checked

Scored 7/10 (metrics tier, metrics-v1). Evidence: published 2026 pricing (Free/Starter $15/Business $29 per claap.io and G2); video-first feature set corroborated across toolquestor.com and wudpecker.io. Strengths: best-in-class clip sharing, generous free tier. Docked for: (1) G2 reports of recordings locked after downgrade; (2) heavier storage and slower processing than text-only rivals. License: proprietary SaaS.
