About

FireHydrant is a full-lifecycle incident management platform: declare incidents from Slack, coordinate with assigned roles and automated runbooks, track services in a dependency-mapped catalog, communicate via public/private status pages, and close out with AI-drafted retrospectives and MTTx analytics. It integrates with 38+ tools including PagerDuty, Datadog, and Jira, and offers call transcription for Zoom and Google Meet bridges. In December 2025 Freshworks announced its acquisition of FireHydrant (closed January 2026), with the platform set to integrate into Freshservice.

The honest picture: the Freshworks acquisition introduces roadmap uncertainty — current accounts are unchanged during transition, but long-term direction is now Freshworks'. AI features (summaries, triage, retrospectives) are gated to the Enterprise tier; Pro users don't get them. Pricing is enterprise-grade (Platform Pro around $9,600/year flat for up to 20 responders) with consumption-based alerting on top, so it's priced for 100+ engineer orgs, not indie teams.

What it can do

  • Slack-native incident declaration with roles and runbook automation
  • Service catalog with dependency mapping
  • Public and private status pages
  • AI summaries, call transcription, and retrospective drafts (Enterprise)
  • MTTx analytics dashboards and 38+ integrations
