About
Excire is a German AI photo-management suite built for photographers drowning in large archives. Excire Foto is the standalone organizer and Excire Search is the Lightroom Classic plugin; both analyze image content with on-device AI to auto-apply keywords, detect faces and people, score aesthetics, and find duplicates, with everything processed locally so files never leave the computer.
Search works in plain language, by visual similarity, or by facial attributes, and the smart culling module groups bursts by sharpness and aesthetic score to speed up selection. Excire won the 2026 TIPA award for best photo management software. Foto 2027 is a one-time purchase at $249 with a 14-day trial.
