Emitwise
AI carbon accounting focused on Scope 3 supply-chain emissions
Acquired — still operating
acquired by Green Project Technologies Jul 2025
About
Emitwise is a carbon accounting platform built for large enterprises with complex supply chains. It uses machine learning to automate data capture from spend, activity and supplier data, auto-classifying suppliers and producing audit-ready emissions reporting across Scopes 1, 2 and 3, aligned with the GHG Protocol, CDP and CSRD.
The platform includes an AI-powered product carbon footprint calculator for suppliers and scorecard-style supplier benchmarking. In July 2025 the Emitwise platform was acquired by Green Project Technologies (itself acquired by ACT Group in 2023), so standalone product direction is now set by the combined group — a consideration for buyers evaluating roadmaps.
