Edge Delta
Edge observability: analyze telemetry at the source before the cloud.
About
Edge Delta is an observability platform founded in 2018 in Seattle by Ozan Unlu and Fatih Yildiz. Its core idea is a reversal of the usual pipeline: instead of shipping all logs, metrics, events, and traces to a central cloud for analysis, it runs distributed stream processing and federated machine learning at the edge, at the data source, to detect hotspots and anomalous behavior in place. The vendor says this gives visibility into 100% of datasets while cutting the cloud spend and MTTR that come from centralizing exploding telemetry volumes.
The company raised a $63M Series B in 2022 led by Quiet Capital, with Cisco Investments, ServiceNow, Menlo Ventures, and others participating, after a $15M Series A in 2021. It sells telemetry pipelines for observability and security data, anomaly detection, and log/metrics/trace management aimed at DevOps, SRE, and security teams running Kubernetes, Lambda, ECS, and EC2. Performance and cost claims are vendor-stated; I have not benchmarked the edge processing myself.
What it can do
- Edge-based stream processing of logs, metrics, events, traces
- Federated machine learning for anomaly detection
- Telemetry pipelines for observability and security data
- 100% dataset visibility claim (per vendor)
- 50+ integrations (Kubernetes, Lambda, ECS, EC2, and more)
- Point-and-click fleet and log management
Setup
- Sign up at edgedelta.com and install the Edge Delta agent on your nodes or clusters.
- Point log, metric, and trace sources at the agent (Kubernetes, Lambda, ECS, EC2, and 50+ integrations).
- Configure which patterns the edge stream processors analyze versus forward.
- Review anomalies and search results in the Edge Delta console.
Prerequisites
Workloads on Kubernetes, AWS Lambda/ECS/EC2, or another supported source; ability to deploy the Edge Delta agent.

Trust score — 7/10
Scored 7/10 (TIER metrics, metrics-v1). Evidence: founded 2018 in Seattle; $63M Series B (2022, Quiet Capital) with strategic backing from Cisco and ServiceNow; ~90 employees; active platform with telemetry-pipeline positioning in 2026. Strengths: genuinely distinct edge-first architecture, serious enterprise investor backing, 8-year operating history. Docked for: (1) anomaly-detection and cost-saving claims are vendor-stated, untested; (2) conflicting third-party funding totals, so I only vouch for the corroborated $63M Series B. License: proprietary.
