Cyanite
AI music tagging, similarity search, and AI-music detection API.
About
Cyanite is an audio intelligence platform that analyzes music files and turns them into structured, machine-readable metadata. Because it works directly from the audio, it can analyze any piece of music, released or unreleased, and the company reports usage by more than 200 music companies and 200,000 artists.
Its key features include auto-tagging for mood, genre, instrumentation, energy, BPM, vocal presence, and more; similarity search that surfaces sonically similar tracks; free-text search over catalogs using natural-language descriptions; and AI music detection that estimates whether a track contains AI-generated music from models such as Suno, Udio, ElevenLabs, Lyria, and Mureka.
Everything in the Cyanite Web App is available through a REST API, and the platform is widely adopted by sync libraries, production music companies, publishers, and music technology platforms working with large catalogs for discovery, catalog management, recommendation, and search workflows.
