Cresta

End-to-end generative AI platform for contact centers: agent assist, virtual agents, and conversation intelligence.

About

Cresta sells a unified AI platform for enterprise contact centers that pairs human agents with AI. Its agent-assist product listens to live conversations and surfaces real-time guidance, suggested responses, and workflow actions drawn from the behavior of top performers, while its virtual agents handle routine interactions autonomously. A conversation-intelligence layer mines every interaction for coaching insights and revenue opportunities, so the platform claims to both upskill human agents and automate the mundane work around them.

The company was founded by Zayd Enam, Tim Shi, and Sebastian Thrun out of the Stanford AI Lab, and CEO Ping Wu previously founded and led Google's Contact Center AI and Vertex AI platforms. Cresta closed a $125 million Series D led by World Innovation Lab and QIA, bringing total funding past $270 million, with backing from Andreessen Horowitz, Greylock, and Sequoia. At the time of that round the company said it had nearly quadrupled ARR and doubled its customer base in two years, and its customer roster includes Intuit, Verizon, United Airlines, Cox Communications, and Marriott.

What it can do

  • Real-time agent assist with suggested responses and workflow actions during live calls
  • Human-like virtual agents for routine contact-center interactions
  • Conversation intelligence and coaching analytics across every interaction
