Cisco AI Defense
Security guardrails and validation for enterprise AI.
About
Cisco AI Defense secures enterprise AI deployments end to end. It discovers shadow AI usage on the network, detects and blocks malicious LLM prompts and outputs, and algorithmically validates models before they reach production, auto-generating appropriate security guardrails for each fine-tuned system.
Built on Cisco's acquisition of Robust Intelligence (completed 2024), AI Defense launched in early 2025 and now anchors Cisco's AI security portfolio alongside Foundation AI's open-source security models and AI supply-chain risk controls, with integrations into ServiceNow SecOps and Splunk.
