About

The AWS MCP servers (awslabs/mcp, Apache-2.0, ~9.8k stars) are AWS's official monorepo of MCP servers: Bedrock, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, cost analysis, and many more services as agent tools.

Very actively developed (100 releases/12mo). The way to give agents real AWS access with proper IAM scoping instead of handing them CLI credentials and hoping.

What it can do

  • Official AWS monorepo
  • IAM-scoped access
  • Apache-2.0 open source
  • Very active development

Setup

  1. Pick the servers you need from the awslabs/mcp monorepo.
