AutoPod

AI multicam editing for video podcasts, inside Premiere Pro.

About

AutoPod is a set of Adobe Premiere Pro extensions that automates the repetitive parts of video podcast editing. The Multi-Camera Editor cuts between up to 10 cameras and 10 microphones based on who is speaking; the Jump Cut Editor strips silences using per-mic decibel thresholds; and the Social Clip Creator exports 16:9, 4:5, and 9:16 clips with auto-reframe, watermarks, and batch export.

It is narrowly focused on purpose: trained on podcast footage, it handles solo shots, two-shots, and wide shots out of the box and writes finished sequences straight to the Premiere timeline for fine-tuning. One flat plan at $29/month covers everything, with a 30-day free trial.

The constraints are real: it needs separate audio tracks per speaker (a single mixed mic breaks speaker detection), it only works in Premiere Pro (a separate DaVinci Resolve build exists), and reviewers note the auto-edits still need human cleanup. For weekly multicam interview shows, though, it removes the most boring hours of the edit.

What it can do

  • AI multicam switching (10 cams/10 mics), silence-based jump cuts, social clip export in 3 aspect ratios, batch export, customizable cutting presets.

Setup

Install the extensions into Adobe Premiere Pro 2023 or newer.
