AudioPen
Turn rambling voice notes into clean, structured text with an AI rewrite pass.
About
AudioPen is a voice-to-text note app built by indie hacker Louis Pereira. Record a voice note in the browser or native app and it transcribes the audio, then runs a second AI pass that rewrites the ramble into clear, logically flowing prose in a style you choose, rather than dumping a verbatim transcript. Paid tiers add summaries, multi-note Super Summaries and integrations.
It is aimed at people who think better by speaking than typing: founders capturing ideas on the go, writers drafting posts, students summarizing lectures. The free tier covers short recordings and a handful of stored notes; Premium extends recording length and storage. The whole product is deliberately minimal, one mic button and your thoughts, which is both its charm and its ceiling.

- Style selection for the output
- Note summaries and Super Summaries
- Tags, folders and Zapier integration
