Alitu
Podcast maker that auto-cleans, edits, and publishes episodes for non-engineers.
About
Alitu is a web app that takes podcast production off the beginner's plate: upload or record raw audio and it automatically normalizes levels, removes noise, and applies EQ, then drops the cleaned files into a drag-and-drop episode builder. Transcript-based editing, filler-word and silence removal, a royalty-free music library, and AI-generated show notes and transcripts in 17 languages cover the rest of the pipeline.
It goes further than editing — Alitu bundles recording (solo and remote guests), free hosting up to 1,000 downloads a month, a podcast website, and one-click publishing to Apple Podcasts and Spotify, plus a library of courses for first-time podcasters. Plans run about $38/month ($32 annual).
Limitations: it is browser-only with no offline editing, offers far less precision than a DAW (no multitrack mixing, no plugin chains), exports MP3 only, and the subscription is steep for shows that publish infrequently or already have hosting.
