All-in-one LLM CLI: shell assistant, chat REPL, RAG, and agents across 20+ providers.
About
AIChat by sigoden is an all-in-one LLM CLI tool written in Rust with ~10k GitHub stars. It unifies 20+ LLM providers (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Ollama, Groq, Azure, Bedrock, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, and any OpenAI-compatible API) behind one interface with shell assistant (natural language to shell commands), CMD mode, and a feature-rich chat REPL with autocompletion, history search, and multi-line input.
Beyond chat, it supports RAG over documents, function calling and AI agents, and a built-in HTTP server exposing its capabilities as API endpoints. Licensed under Apache 2.0, it is one of the most popular terminal-first LLM tools in the open-source ecosystem.
